Jackyl is an American hard rock band formed in Kennesaw, Georgia, in 1991, blending Southern rock with glam and heavy metal. Fronted by vocalist Jesse James Dupree, the group's self-titled 1992 debut went platinum. They are best known for "The Lumberjack," which features Dupree performing a solo on a chainsaw.
