Bio
Jade Cicada is the project of American producer Skyler Alecson, an East Coast native who graduated from Berklee College of Music with a major in Electronic Production & Design. His sound is glitchy, experimental bass music that moves between downtempo, ambient and heavy 'whomp,' drawing on 90s hip-hop and the left-field bass scene. He got his break in 2015 when Tipper recognized his work and had him open at the Tipper & Friends Festival, and he released the album Pressure Gamut on New Year's Day 2023
