What's special
Nocturnal Valley is a three-day music, arts and camping festival presented by Downright Entertainment in its inaugural year, set at Astral Valley Art Park in French Village, Missouri, about 45 minutes south of St. Louis. The venue is a natural amphitheater, with the main stage sitting in a wooded bowl surrounded by trees and bluffs. The festival spans three decorated stages of largely bass, experimental and jam-leaning electronic music, plus interactive art installations, activity zones and workshops. It is an 18+ event, and admission includes camping

Early reaction has centered on the lineup, which fans have repeatedly described as unusually deep for a first-year event, and on the venue itself. Attendees of prior events at Astral Valley praise the natural-amphitheater setting and wooded grounds as an incredible space to explore. Time critical warning. Nocturnal Valley runs an approved ADA campsite, but the organiser states that ADA accommodation requests are closed because the deadline to submit for an approved ADA campsite was September 1st, which has already passed for the 2026 event.

The FAQ adds that anyone arriving without prior approval from festival management must have a handicap plaque to present in order to be approved to camp in that campground. Golf cart taxis are run across the site and the organiser says they are primarily provided for VIP ticket holders and ADA guests, with a limited number of Golf Cart Taxi passes sold per person through the ticketing page.
The site is Astral Valley Art Park, 10288 Koester Springs Rd, French Village, MO, a wooded outdoor park with a Forest Stage, a Nocturnal Stage, an Astral main stage, swimming holes and two free shower houses, one at Forest Stage and one in Stargazer Campground.
The event is camping based and 18 plus. A festival ticket does not include parking: an on site Car Pass lets you park inside your own 20 by 20 campsite, while a Day Parking Pass covers the day lot at the front of the property, which is very limited, first come first serve, cleared every morning at 9:00 AM and closed to oversized vehicles.
The organiser explicitly says there is not enough space to park in the day lot and carry belongings to a campsite. There is no car re-entry once a camping vehicle is on site. Phone service is extremely limited across the site and there is no public WiFi, which matters if you rely on a phone to call for assistance.
Medical and harm reduction services are on site. Pets are not allowed except service animals, and the organiser asks for official documentation for them. The organiser publishes nothing about accessible toilets, an accessible viewing platform, a companion or carer ticket, or ASL.

No sensory or quiet space is published. The organiser does sell a Quiet Camping upgrade, bought in addition to a general admission pass, which places you in a quiet campground, and it publishes site wide quiet hours from 8am to 12pm.
