Marcus Miller (born June 14, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York) is an American jazz composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist best known as a bassist. A prolific session musician who has appeared on hundreds of recordings, he worked closely with Miles Davis and composed and produced Davis's 1986 album Tutu. He is a two-time Grammy Award winner.
