Max Stalling, a southwest-Texas native who left a research-scientist career at Frito-Lay to write songs, handles rhythm guitar and lead vocals, while award-winning fiddle player Heather Stalling adds fiddle and harmony vocals. The couple, married in 2007, are known for a smart, danceable live show rooted in traditional country and Western swing
