Bio
The Lost Gonzo Band is an Austin, Texas country-rock and progressive-country band formed in the early 1970s. Its core members backed Michael Martin Murphey and Jerry Jeff Walker on landmark 1970s Texas records including Murphey's 'Geronimo's Cadillac' and Walker's 'Viva Terlingua,' and helped establish Austin's reputation as a live-music capital. The group released its self-titled debut on MCA in 1975 and reunited to perform in the 2020s
