Bio

Monica Martin is a Chicago-born, Wisconsin-raised singer-songwriter now based in Los Angeles. She first gained recognition from 2011 as the frontwoman and lead vocalist of the acclaimed indie-folk band PHOX, whose self-titled 2014 debut was widely praised before the group went on indefinite hiatus. As a solo artist she pairs a soulful, golden-era Hollywood vocal style with contemporary production, notably on her James Blake collaboration 'Go Easy, Kid'
