Palehound is the indie rock project of American singer-songwriter Ellen Kempner, formed in the early 2010s. Praised for sharp, confessional songwriting, the project released the acclaimed debut album Dry Food in 2015, followed by records including Black Friday (2019) and Eye on the Bat (2023).
