Bio
Pearl Django is one of the longest-running American Hot Club / gypsy-jazz bands, established in 1994 in Tacoma, Washington by guitarists Neil Andersson and Dudley Hill with bassist David 'Pope' Firman. The group melds the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli with American swing, and has been central to popularizing the Pacific Northwest's gypsy-jazz scene, performing at the Django Reinhardt festival in Samois-sur-Seine and releasing on its own Modern Hot Records label
