DjangoFest NW is North America's largest and most celebrated Gypsy-jazz festival, held each September at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts in Langley, Washington. Founded in 2000 to honor the legacy of Django Reinhardt, it brings world-class artists from around the globe together for several days of concerts, afternoon workshops and near-constant jamming, and celebrated its 25th year in 2025. Camping is available at the adjacent fairgrounds, and the island setting is a draw in its own right

Weekday commuter-rail option: Link from SEA to King Street Station area, then the Sounder N Line north to Mukilteo station, which sits adjacent to the ferry terminal then walk-on ferry + free Island Transit Route 60 as above. Sounder N runs weekday peak periods only, so it fits Tue-Fri festival arrivals, not weekend travel. (Amtrak Cascades' nearest stop is Everett, which requires backtracking to Mukilteo by local transit not recommended as a primary routing.)

All-transit chain the festival's Getting Here page points to via the Sound Transit trip planner: Link 1 Line light rail from SEA Airport station north to Lynnwood City Center station; Community Transit Route 117 from Lynnwood City Center to the Mukilteo ferry terminal; walk on the Washington State Ferry to Clinton (adult passenger $7.10, collected westbound at Mukilteo only the return walk-on is free); then Island Transit Route 60 fare-free from the Clinton ferry terminal into Langley (stops on Cascade Ave/Second St/Anthes Ave, a short walk from both WICA and the fairgrounds campground). An ORCA card covers the Link and Community Transit legs; Island Transit charges no fare (islandtransit.org). Route 60 service is limited on weekends check the current timetable

Scheduled van service from SEA direct onto South Whidbey the operator's stop list includes Ken's Korner (the Langley/Clinton stop) and the Clinton ferry terminal, with the shuttle riding the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry across. SEA pickup is on the baggage-claim level across from carousel 2, through Door 2 or Door 0 at the Airporters sign; arrive at stops 15 minutes early.
