Purple Disco Machine is the stage name of Tino Piontek, a German nu-disco and house producer and DJ born in Dresden in 1980. Adopting the Purple Disco Machine name in 2012, he broke into the mainstream with the 2020 European hit "Hypnotized" (with Sophie and the Giants) and has remixed artists including Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Ariana Grande and Elton John. His sampladelic sound has made him one of the leading contemporary torchbearers for disco's heritage
