Bio

Rod Stewart is a British singer and songwriter born January 10, 1945, in London, known for his distinctive raspy voice. He rose to fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s with the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces before a hugely successful solo career highlighted by hits such as 'Maggie May.' He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice.
