Bio

The Sam Grisman Project is an acoustic string band led by bassist Sam Grisman, son of mandolinist David Grisman. The group performs bluegrass, old-time and folk repertoire alongside Grateful Dead material and original songs, drawing on the music Grisman grew up around, and released its self-titled debut studio album in 2025.
