Seun Kuti is a Nigerian saxophonist, singer, and bandleader, the youngest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti. Following his father's death in 1997, he took over leadership of Fela's band Egypt 80, which retained many of its original members. Known for politically charged Afrobeat, the group earned a Grammy nomination for the album "Black Times."
