Blood Orange is the primary recording project of Devonté Hynes, an English singer-songwriter, producer, and composer based in New York City, born in 1985. Blending R&B, indie rock, and experimental influences, he has released five studio albums as Blood Orange between 2011 and 2025, including Freetown Sound (2016) and Negro Swan (2018), and has written or produced for artists such as Solange and FKA Twigs
