Bio

Sunny War, born Sydney Lyndella Ward on November 30, 1990, in Nashville, Tennessee, is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. She developed an idiosyncratic fingerstyle technique while busking in Venice Beach, California, and blends folk, blues, punk and gospel. Her albums include Anarchist Gospel (2023) and Armageddon in a Summer Dress (2025).
