Bio
The Earls of Leicester are an American bluegrass sextet assembled by dobro master Jerry Douglas in 2013 to recreate the music of Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs and their band the Foggy Mountain Boys for a contemporary audience. The band's name is a pun, with the English city Leicester pronounced 'Lester' and Scruggs' first name being 'Earl.' Their 2014 self-titled debut won the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album
