Bio
The Eddie Palmieri Experience is an all-star tribute ensemble celebrating the music of the late Latin-jazz pianist and NEA Jazz Master Eddie Palmieri (1936-2025), a ten-time Grammy winner and founder of La Perfecta. The band is led by musical directors Louis Fouche (alto saxophone) and Luques Curtis (bass), longtime Palmieri collaborators, with guests including Ray Vega, Conrad Herwig and Zaccai Curtis. It performs Palmieri's salsa and Latin-jazz repertoire at festivals following his death in August 2025
