The Pharcyde is an alternative hip-hop group formed in South Central Los Angeles in 1991. Their 1992 debut album, Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, was critically acclaimed and produced the hit 'Passin' Me By,' and their 1995 follow-up Labcabincalifornia featured production from J Dilla.
