Tinashe, born Tinashe Kachingwe in 1993 in Lexington, Kentucky, is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer known for her alternative R&B and pop sound. She broke through with the 2014 single '2 On' and has since released a series of largely self-produced albums, including 2024's Quantum Baby with its viral single 'Nasty.'
