What's special
Armageddon is the largest annual national event of the Belegarth Medieval Combat Society, a full-contact foam-weapon combat sport, drawing hundreds of participants from around the world. The 2026 edition, Armageddon XXIII, ran June 2-7 at Billie Creek Village - a historic village site - in Rockville, Indiana, coinciding with Belegarth's 25th anniversary. Days are filled with large field battles and combat tournaments, plus Armageddon University classes, Arts & Sciences competitions, group camps, and an on-site Merchant's Row, general store, and cafe.

Do I need a costume?
Belegarth is a full-contact foam-weapon combat sport, and garb is required to take the field, so newcomers should plan for at least basic fantasy/medieval clothing; vendors on Merchant's Row sell garb, weapons, armor, and accessories on site

How do I get to Belegarth Armageddon?

From IND the venue is roughly a 55-mile, 70-minute drive west via US-36 / US-40 toward Rockville. Rideshare pickup at IND is on the first floor of the Terminal Garage; taxis use the call button outside baggage claim on the lower level. There is no transit, rail, or festival shuttle to Rockville, so a rideshare would cover the whole trip, but for a multi-day camping event with gear, most fly-in attendees rent a car. Book a return ride ahead, as drivers are scarce out in Parke County
