Beloved Festival

Beloved (also billed as Beloved Sacred Art & Music Festival) was a four-day sacred art, music and movement festival held on the Oregon coast near Tidewater. Staged on an ephemeral campus in the remote coast range, it was a relatively small, camping-based gathering built around a single stage, shrines and hangout spaces, with wellness programming such as yoga, chanting and meditation alongside the music. Its billing leaned toward bass music and global sounds, and past editions featured artists including Tipper, OTT, Rising Appalachia, CloZee, Desert Dwellers and Nahko and Medicine for the People. The organizer, Beloved Presents, later reframed the project toward land healing, publishing a piece titled 'Death of a Festival' and centering the 'Beloved Emergence' ecological restoration land project

Attendees describe an intimate, loving and communal atmosphere that left them feeling renewed, with up-close artist moments -- performers reportedly playing from the middle of the dance floor surrounded by the crowd. Many highlight the spiritual and wellness side of the event, including yoga, chanting, meditation and natural foods, and long-time visitors call it a well-run, safe gathering they return to
