What happened to Blue Ridge Rock Festival?
The 2023 festival was cut short by organizers on its third day due to severe weather, after which attendees reported unresolved refunds and health-department violations. The 2024 edition was then cancelled outright, with organizers citing unresolved insurance claims from the 2023 event.

This is NOT an airport shuttle it's the festival's own required internal transport: anyone parking at either remote lot must purchase a shuttle pass and ride the shuttle bus to the venue gate, since the lots themselves are off-site. Shuttles run from 9am daily; last shuttle to the venue departs the lots at 11pm Thu-Sat and 10:30pm Sun. A separate paid Tuk Tuk Taxi service ($5/person) also operates within the campground/venue footprint itself for shorter internal hops

GSO is ~60 road miles/~1hr from the venue; LYH and ROA are each roughly 50-55 miles; RDU is the furthest at ~110+ miles but the largest hub. Rideshare/taxi pickup for all of these is routed to the festival's two remote parking lots, not the venue gate directly riders should expect a rideshare-to-parking-lot leg followed by the mandatory shuttle bus (below), not a single continuous ride to the stage area
