What happened to Country Fan Fest?
Organizers announced on Facebook (Jan. 25, 2025) that Country Fan Fest would take a hiatus in 2025, citing months of work with Tooele County and festival partners that could not overcome challenges facing independent festivals; no 2026 edition has since been announced.
It last ran in 2024.

No direct passenger rail to the venue was found. Drive, fly in, or use a shuttle instead.

A genuine UTA commuter route that stops at Salt Lake City International Airport on its way between Downtown SLC and Grantsville, the town Deseret Peak Complex sits nearest to. This is the one mode that reaches near the venue town without a car, though it's a weekday commuter schedule (limited weekend/holiday service) and the Grantsville stop is still several miles from the complex itself, so a short rideshare/taxi leg is likely needed for the final mile

From downtown, UTA's Route 451 'Tooele Fast Bus' runs 5x on weekdays to Tooele (adjacent to Grantsville/Deseret Peak Complex), an alternative to Route 454 if timing doesn't line up, but requires a transfer downtown and still leaves a final rideshare/taxi leg to the complex
