What's special
The Del Close Marathon is the Upright Citizens Brigade's legendary improv endurance event: 56+ continuous hours of comedy running nonstop from Friday afternoon through Sunday midnight on UCB New York's MainStage, surrounded by a festival week of 300+ shows across six stages at two walkable East Village venues. Named for improv guru Del Close, the marathon draws troupes from NYC, LA, Chicago, Seattle, DC and beyond, while headliner showcases in 2026 featured Tim & Eric, Patti Harrison, Please Don't Destroy, Rory Scovel, Paul Scheer, Edi Patterson and UCB co-founder Matt Besser, alongside industry panels and workshops led by UCB instructors
