What's special
Dragon Con's 2027 edition runs five days over Labor Day weekend, September 2 to 6, across five connected downtown Atlanta hotels, the Hyatt Regency, Hilton Atlanta, Marriott Marquis, Courtland Grand and Westin Peachtree Plaza, rather than a single convention center. The current 5-Day Membership price is $125 plus a $7 processing fee; single-day badges remain unpriced until they go on sale August 1, 2027, and children under seven attend free. Hotel room blocks at the Hyatt, Hilton and Courtland Grand are already sold out for 2027, with nightly rates that ran from roughly $251 to $420; the Marriott Marquis and Westin Peachtree Plaza opened their blocks shortly before capture and remained open, at $274 to $317 a night. The convention enforces a strict no-weapons policy requiring every prop to be peace-bonded, and its Walk of Fame lets fans buy photos and autographs directly at a guest's own table. Disability Services operates from a table at the Courtland Grand, issuing accommodation stickers covering wheelchair seating, line placement, screen proximity, interpreter sightlines and personal care assistance
