What happened to Epicenter?
launched in 2019 as the successor to Carolina Rebellion (2011-2018); debuted at Rockingham Festival Grounds, then moved to Charlotte Motor Speedway for a planned 2020 edition headlined by Metallica that was cancelled for COVID-19. Danny Wimmer Presents announced in February 2021 that Epicenter would take a hiatus with a planned 2022 return; no edition has been held since 2019 and the festival is not on Danny Wimmer Presents' current festival roster.
