What's special
The Evergreen Tattoo Invitational is a long-running, artist-run Oregon convention held indoors at the Lane Events Center in Eugene from March 19 to 21, 2027, open Friday noon to 10pm, Saturday 11am to 10pm and Sunday 11am to 8pm. It describes itself as a celebration of body art and the education of tattooing and other forms of body modification, with live tattooing, competitions and piercing. Admission is $18 daily or $50 for a weekend pass, and children 12 and under are free. You must be 18 with valid ID to be tattooed; piercing is available from age 13 with legal guardianship. Many artists take walk-ups, and appointments are booked directly with each artist
What happens on the floor
Pieces go on in the open, start to finish. You can watch, and talk to artists between clients.
Finished and same-day work is judged on stage in named categories, usually late in the day.
Piercers work alongside the tattoo booths. The same questions apply: age, ID, sterilisation and aftercare.
Teaching sessions aimed at working artists. Usually ticketed separately from admission.
Machines, inks, aftercare, art and clothing. Aimed at artists, but open to anyone through the door.
Getting tattooed here
Admission gets you through the door, not into a chair. Tattoo work is arranged with the artist, not with the show.
To book an artist, contact them directly by email or social media; the organizer provides Instagram links on its Attending Artists pages. Several artists book ahead of time. Anyone with an appointment still pays entry
Although several artists book ahead, many also take walk-ups. Availability on the day is not guaranteed
Who is tattooing
No artist roster has been published for this edition, so there is no way to pick an artist in advance from the official pages.
No named 2027 roster was captured. The site has Attending Artists pages with Instagram links, but new artist submissions open October 31, so the 2027 lineup is being assembled. The owners' own studios are linked from the FAQ (Queen Bee Tattoos and others in Eugene and Springfield)
