By car
Most people drive to FestivALL Charleston. The nearest major airport is CRW, and from there it is a straightforward drive to the venue. Check current road and traffic conditions before you set off, and see parking below.
By train
The Amtrak Cardinal (New York-Chicago via DC and Cincinnati) stops at Charleston, WV station, 350 MacCorkle Ave SE, on the south bank of the Kanawha River, roughly a 15-20 min walk over the South Side Bridge into the downtown festival footprint, or a short rideshare. Service is only three days per week in each direction (Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays), so it suits travelers already routing along the Cardinal corridor rather than serving as an airport connection. Intercity coaches serve the Charleston Bus Station at 300 Reynolds St, on the northern edge of downtown, inside or within a short walk/one KRT hop of the festival's downtown venue footprint. Greyhound and Barons Bus both operate from the terminal (Barons runs the I-Ride 79 corridor service north to Morgantown, which also calls at the KRT City Center Station at 140 Laidley St downtown). A budget option for regional travelers, not an airport transfer
Book / info →West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW) sits ~3 mi east of downtown Charleston. KRT's fixed-route buses do not climb to the terminal; instead KRT serves the airport via KRTplus, its on-demand van service, with the airport as an official 'Point of Interest' destination, it picks up anywhere in the three KRTplus zones (West Side, Charleston Core i.e. downtown, and South Hills) and runs to/from CRW for a $12 flat fee per trip, which covers multiple passengers traveling together. Operates Mondays-Saturdays, 21 hours a day (no Sunday service, KRT eliminated Sunday operations in 2024, so plan a taxi/rideshare for Sunday flights). Book via the KRTplus or Transit mobile apps, or by phone at 304-343-7586. Within downtown itself, regular KRT fixed-route buses are $1.50 flat fare

Yeager Airport's official ground-transportation page lists Uber and Lyft as operating 24/7 via their apps, plus local operators C&H Taxi (304-344-4902) and Chandlers Limousine Service (304-345-5434). This is the only door-to-door option on Sundays, when KRT/KRTplus does not operate. No advance booking URL, hail in-app or call on arrival
Taxis and rideshare such as Uber and Lyft can be limited near the venue, especially late at night or in rural areas. Agree a pickup point and time in advance and keep a backup plan.

FestivALL is a citywide festival across dozens of downtown venues with no festival-operated lot; parking means normal City of Charleston downtown parking. The city runs multiple downtown garages (e.g. 915 Quarrier St, 612 Washington St) that are free on weekends and weekday evenings, which covers most festival event times, and metered street parking payable via the ParkMobile app or coins. Larger venues (Clay Center, Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center area) have their own adjacent garages/lots. No prepay or reservation platform is required or offered for the festival itself
