By car
Most people drive to Fiesta del Sol. The nearest major airport is MDW, and from there it is a straightforward drive to the venue. Check current road and traffic conditions before you set off, and see parking below.
By train
Chicago Union Station is Amtrak's national hub (long-distance and Midwest corridor routes), about 2.5 mi north of the festival site. From Union Station: short taxi/rideshare (~10 min), or CTA Pink Line from the Loop to 18th Street, or the 60 Blue Island/26th bus which runs from the Union Station area through Pilsen. Metra regional rail also terminates downtown (Union Station and LaSalle St). Relevant for out-of-town visitors arriving by rail rather than via MDW

Intercity coaches serve the downtown Chicago terminal at 630 W Harrison St (West Loop), roughly 1.5 mi north of Pilsen the City of Chicago approved purchase of this terminal in June 2026 to preserve intercity bus service, with Greyhound/FlixBus continuing to operate it through a transition period. From the terminal: short taxi/rideshare, or the 60 Blue Island/26th CTA bus toward Pilsen
Book / info →From Midway (MDW): CTA Orange Line toward the Loop, transfer to the Pink Line at a shared Loop elevated station (e.g. Adams/Wabash or Harold Washington Library), exit at 18th Street station in Pilsen the festival's official page names Pink Line 18th or Polk as the arrival stations. Local CTA buses also serve the site directly: 21 Cermak (runs along the festival street), 60 Blue Island/26th, and 9 Ashland, all listed on the official festival page. MDW to Pilsen is ~7 mi (15-25 min via I-55). Uber and Lyft both operate citywide with designated pickup zones at Midway; metered taxis queue at the terminal. The festival maintains an official designated drop-off zone for Uber/Lyft and taxis near Ashland & Cermak use it rather than trying to get dropped inside the street-closure footprint. Note Chicago's rideshare airport surcharge ($5 for airport trips) and 2026 downtown congestion-zone fees ($1.50 on single-rider trips in designated zones, 6am-10pm) can add to the metered fare

This is a free street festival on Cermak Rd itself (Ashland to Morgan), so there is no official festival lot and the festival footprint is a street closure. The official page says limited parking is available around the festival area and points to public parking lots near UIC and Ashland Ave plus metered parking on nearby streets; no prepay platform is named. Bike racks are available at select entrances. Local coverage warns of big crowds, street closures on Cermak, and neighborhood permit-parking rules on Pilsen side streets transit is the organizer-recommended arrival mode
