Firefly Music Festival

Firefly Music Festival was a four-day camping festival held at The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway in Delaware from 2012 to 2022. Across seven stages it spanned alternative rock, pop, hip-hop and EDM with big-name and emerging acts, but its signature was the wooded "Woodlands" setting and hidden themed stages -- the Treehouse, the Music Den and the Coffeehouse -- tucked among the trees. Expansive grounds combined a festival village of restaurants, bars and a market with tent and glamping campsites

Attendees remember Firefly for its strong lineups and the immersive wooded layout, urging first-timers not to miss the smaller hidden stages, and praising plentiful food including healthier options across a huge site. The most common gripes are the cramped, sometimes poorly stocked portable toilets and prices on specialty items. Camping and premium glamping split opinion sharply -- some found the infield camping just enough and returned happily, while others reported unmet glamping promises, uncomfortable cots, cold nights and leaking tents

The last edition Firefly actually held ran in September 2022 with headliners including Dua Lipa, Green Day and Halsey. The 2023 festival was subsequently canceled and the event has been on indefinite hiatus since, with no return staged.
