How do I get to FloydFest?
By car
Most people drive to FloydFest. The nearest major airport is ROA, and from there it is a straightforward drive to the venue. Check current road and traffic conditions before you set off, and see parking below.
By train
No direct passenger rail to the venue was found. Drive, fly in, or use a shuttle instead.
By bus & public transit
No scheduled intercity bus or public transit route to the venue was found. Drive, fly in, or use a shuttle instead.
Taxi & rideshare
Taxis and rideshare such as Uber and Lyft can be limited near the venue, especially late at night or in rural areas. Agree a pickup point and time in advance and keep a backup plan.

Cost vehicle camping passes (which functionally include parking, since Park & Camp puts the vehicle at the site) are priced per camping tier see camping_deep_dive.vehicle_sites. Prepay via FloydFest's own ticketing platform (Afton Tickets/Frontgate-style checkout) parking and camping passes are sold as separate line items from festival admission. FloydFest's own FAQ page states plainly that 'camping and parking are sold separately from admission tickets and do not include festival entry' every attendee needs a separate parking/camping product regardless of ticket type. VIP bundles include one VIP Parking Pass. the festival appears structured around camp-in-place attendance (Park & Camp directly beside the vehicle) rather than a separate park-and-walk-in day lot

The primary practical option for fly-in attendees FestivalPark is ~45-55 rural miles from ROA with no rail, bus, or public transit reaching Floyd County, and rideshare over that distance is expensive/unreliable (low driver density). This is exactly the kind of camping festival where car hire (or the festival's own Roanoke hotel-shuttle package, see non_camper_lodging) is the realistic answer rather than a nice-to-have
