The Coast Starlight technically stops in downtown Redding once a day each direction, but both trains pass through in the middle of the night with no connecting local transit running, and the station is still 15-plus miles from the venue. It is not a practical way to reach this festival, a car is needed regardless

Uber and Lyft operate at RDD with pickup at the departure level. The venue sits south of Redding in Cottonwood, so a rideshare run is longer than a trip into central Redding, and return rides from the rural campus can be scarce, so a rental car is usually the safer bet for the festival

Parking is on the school grounds and nearby, first-come-first-served; the festival draws thousands over its two days (its 85th edition in 2025 drew big crowds), so the closest lots fill early and overflow spills onto the surrounding roads.
