The Idaho Renaissance Faire is the flagship fall event of Idaho Renaissance Faire, Inc., a Boise-area 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose proceeds benefit local schools' arts programs. Set in the Italian Renaissance, the faire travels to a new location and takes on a new theme each year, with 2026 planned as a Venetian Festival of Fools. It anchors a three-event annual season that also includes a Beltane Fantasy Festival celebrating world mythology and a midwinter Skål Viking Festival, and is billed as family-friendly fun focused on teaching and learning about history in an engaging way.
