The Lexington Barbecue Festival publishes access detail inside its travel and parking pages rather than an accessibility page. A parking lot reserved for vehicles with handicapped permits is located off State Street between 2nd & 3rd Street, and restrooms for visitors with disabilities are located in that parking lot as well as at other designated restroom areas throughout the festival.

The festival is partly shuttle based and the organiser states that handicapped accessible transportation is available at the shuttle location, which is Childress Vineyards at 1000 Childress Vineyards Road, running free from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm; there is no shuttle from Walmart this year.
Note that the festival also promotes a special one day train service and states that because it is a temporary one day stop, ADA accessibility is not available on the train. Nothing is published on ground surface or terrain, accessible viewing, companion or carer tickets, ASL or a quiet or sensory space
