No direct passenger rail to the venue was found. Drive, fly in, or use a shuttle instead.
By bus & public transit
San Diego International Airport sits only about 4 miles from Ocean Beach. MTS Route 923 runs directly along Newport Avenue in Ocean Beach and up the Point Loma corridor toward downtown; from the airport, connect via MTS Route 992 into downtown or take the free San Diego Flyer shuttle to Old Town and pick up a westbound OB connection. Fares use the PRONTO card/app with free transfers for two hours

Rideshare and taxi are the fastest airport-to-Ocean Beach option given the short distance. Pickup at the airport follows the marked rideshare/taxi zones by terminal. Note that during the fair itself the core of Newport Avenue is closed to traffic, so drop-offs happen at the edge of the closure and the last block or two is on foot
Book / info →Taxis and rideshare such as Uber and Lyft can be limited near the venue, especially late at night or in rural areas. Agree a pickup point and time in advance and keep a backup plan.

No on site parking. Use nearby lots or transit. Cost Free (remote lot with free shuttle; no paid event parking). The fair closes the 4800-5000 blocks of Newport Avenue plus stretches of Abbott, Bacon and Cable Streets, and on-street parking in the Ocean Beach core fills very early. The organizers run a free remote parking lot (the Sun Runner lot on Sea World Drive off Pacific Coast Highway) with a complimentary trolley shuttle into the fair, typically running about 9:30am to 9pm, plus a free bike valet at Bacon Street and Newport Avenue. ADA replacement parking is provided near Santa Monica Avenue South & Bacon Street and near Newport Avenue North & Sunset Cliffs Boulevard. Taking transit, the free remote-lot shuttle, or a rideshare is strongly recommended over driving into the neighborhood

Expect elevated summer-weekend pricing during the fair's late-June slot, on top of San Diego's already strong peak-season beach rates, book early for anything within walking distance of Newport Avenue
