The experience

What's special

The Rosemont Ink Masters Tattoo Expo is a stop on the Ink Masters Tattoo Show touring circuit, held Feb 5-7, 2027 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare Hotel & Conference Center at 5440 N River Rd, Rosemont, IL 60018. The format is a walk-up floor: tattooists and piercers work on the spot across the show, and visitors turn up and find the right artist. Around that runs a twenty category contest programme at $10 per tattoo entered and a free daily raffle giving away two tattoos a day with the artist of the winner's choice. Admission is sold at the door only, at $25 for a day or $40 for the weekend, with $5 off before 5pm on the early-bird day, and ages 16 and under enter free with a parent. Anyone getting tattooed or pierced must be 18 with government issued photo ID. As a stop more than a year out, the artist roster is not yet published

Getting tattooed here

Before you go

Admission gets you through the door, not into a chair. Tattoo work is arranged with the artist, not with the show.

Booking ahead

No booking system or artist directory is published, so there is no way to pre-book from the official site

Walk-ups on the day

Walk up is the model. Artists work on the spot across a range of styles and visitors turn up and find the right one

Who is tattooing

No artist roster has been published for this edition, so there is no way to pick an artist in advance from the official pages.

2027 lineup not yet published. The organizer publishes no artist roster for this stop, and as a stop more than a year out none is expected on the official site, which carries no artists page for any city

Contests and judging

20 categories are judged across the weekend. Judging pulls the whole floor to the stage, so it is the best hour of the day to watch even if you are not entering.

If you are exhibiting

Booth and vendor fees are what the show charges artists and traders. They are not visitor prices.

The organizer publishes no booth price; artists go through an inquiry form and are quoted privately. Artist side, not a visitor price

The vendor inquiry form carries no price. Trader side, not a visitor price

Every gate price here is a door price; there is no online sale and so no booking fee. The $10 contest entry is not a visitor admission price and is fenced above
