What happened to Sarasota Blues Fest?
The Sarasota Blues Fest, then owned by ticketing company ExtremeTix, announced on its website in May 2013 that it was taking the year off; ExtremeTix cited a need to exit the event-promotion business rather than declining popularity. No edition has been held under the Sarasota Blues Fest name since.
