What happened to Soundside Music Festival (fka Sound On Sound)?
The festival launched as Sound On Sound in 2022 under promoter Founders Entertainment (the team behind Governors Ball), ran through 2023, then was rebranded Soundside Music Festival in 2024 under a new promoter, C3 Presents. On July 25, 2025, organizers posted on the festival website: "Due to circumstances beyond our control, Soundside Music Festival has been cancelled. Tickets will be refunded to the original method of payment. ." A local official told CT Insider the cancellation was likely linked to weak ticket sales for that year's lineup. The festival's social pages were deleted afterward and no 2026 edition has been confirmed.
