Westerly has its own Amtrak Northeast Corridor station (14 Railroad Ave, served exclusively by Northeast Regional trains; Acela passes through without stopping), roughly a few miles from Westerly Town Beach -- a taxi/rideshare or the RIPTA 301 Rural Ride covers the last mile. This is a better first-choice mode than flying into PVD for travelers already on the NEC (Boston-NYC corridor), since it lands within Westerly itself rather than requiring an onward 30-40 min drive from the airport
