Voices of the Dead is the Festival of the Dead's practitioner evening: two hours at Hex on Essex Street with Patti Negri, billed by the organizer as Hollywood's Good Witch and a frequent guest of Discovery Channel's Ghost Adventures. The format is hands-on rather than a stage show. The organizer's own description pairs what it calls time-honored tools, automatic writing, pendulums, table tipping and mirror gazing, with the modern kit of paranormal investigation, EMF meters, spirit boxes and ITC devices, and invites attendees into the seance circle to try both. It runs Saturday 10 October 2026, 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., inside the organizer's own shop, a few doors from the series' month-long psychic fair
