By car
Most people drive to Wild Rumpus. The nearest major airport is AHN, and from there it is a straightforward drive to the venue. Check current road and traffic conditions before you set off, and see parking below.

Requires a MARTA/rideshare leg from ATL to Garnett Station first, then intercity coach to Athens' downtown transit center

AHN (Athens-Ben Epps) has no scheduled commercial passenger service Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta (ATL), ~70 road miles/~1h30-2h away, is the realistic substitute. Groome runs roughly two dozen daily trips between ATL and multiple downtown Athens pickup points, including the Classic Center, Hotel Indigo, and SpringHill Suites all a short walk of the Wild Rumpus parade route

Taxis and rideshare such as Uber and Lyft can be limited near the venue, especially late at night or in rural areas. Agree a pickup point and time in advance and keep a backup plan.

No on site parking. Use nearby lots or transit. the homepage covers the hotel partner but not parking/transportation specifics. Downtown Athens closes to vehicle traffic along the parade route (West Hancock Ave to West Washington St) during the event, so on-street parking directly on the route is not realistic; general downtown parking decks/lots apply as they would for any major downtown Athens event
