Camping
Primitive camping is available year round in the shaded Harmony Grove or Family Camping areas. Summer rates from April 1 to October 31 are 20 dollars a night per vehicle, and winter rates from November 1 to March 30 are 10 dollars a night per vehicle; pets are allowed on a leash.

A little history
Astral Valley was originally settled by Dutch-German immigrants in the 1800s, and the town of Koester, Missouri grew up around a general store, post office, blacksmith shop and school; only foundations and a few old buildings remain today.
