For 50 years, the Trigg County Country Ham Festival has filled downtown Cadiz with country ham, food, live music and hometown traditions, bringing thousands of people to the festival each year.
Early festivals revolved around the courthouse square in downtown Cadiz, with local churches, school groups and civic clubs setting up booths to raise funds for community projects. Early transport was by FFA hayride, which gave way to PAC buses, while local fundraising booths gradually gave way to commercial food trucks.
