Fremont Street Experience
Fremont Street Experience is a five-block outdoor entertainment district in historic downtown Las Vegas, centered on Viva Vision, the world's largest canopy of screens, and home to the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, the hotel that started it all. Every night brings free live entertainment on three stages plus sidewalk bars, and the Neon City Festival, now in its third year, turns the district into a free, all-ages celebration of music, food and art. The on-site parking garage charges $4 an hour up to $20 a day, with a 15-minute grace period after entry.

Getting there and parking
The Fremont Street Experience parking garage, across from The D Casino & Hotel at 111 S. 4th Street, is a 5-level structure with over 1,300 spaces and a 7-foot max clearance; the entrance is on 4th Street at Carson. Parking costs $4 an hour up to a $20 daily maximum, with a flat fee at special events and $45 monthly parking available, and guests get a 15-minute grace period after entering before fees apply.
Because 4th Street is one-way, you enter the garage from Carson Avenue onto 4th Street; you exit at a different spot, onto Carson Avenue, and can then turn right onto Carson and right onto 4th Street to reach I-515, US 95 or I-15 toward the Strip.

At costume events, costumes must be original or heavily customized; store-bought costumes are allowed but score lower in judging, and nudity, offensive imagery or hate symbols are not allowed. Props must be safe and non-threatening, with no real or replica weapons such as firearms or swords, and event security inspects props.
Within a block of Fremont Street Experience, dining ranges from steakhouses such as the Redwood Steakhouse and Golden Nugget's steakhouse to casual all-day hot dogs and the Whiskey Licker Up bar.
Sound and sensory
Every night at Fremont Street Experience brings free live entertainment and concerts on three different stages, plus sidewalk bars throughout the district, all under the Viva Vision video canopy.
