Hult Center for the Performing Arts
The Hult Center sits in downtown Eugene on Willamette Street between 6th and 7th avenues, with the 2,447-seat Silva Concert Hall and the 495-seat Soreng Theater under one roof. The garage attached to the building charges $10 for event parking, the LTD bus station is three blocks away, and street parking is free after 6pm. Getting there and parking
The Hult Center is at One Eugene Center, at 7th and Willamette in downtown Eugene. The parking garage connected to the building has entrances off 6th Avenue and Olive Street; event parking there costs $10, and you can buy a booklet of six garage coupons for $50. Handicapped placard holders do not pay for event parking.
If the garage is full, the Parcade is across 7th Avenue with entrances off 7th and 8th avenues, and Diamond Parking lots at 8th and Olive, 7th and Olive, 6th and Willamette, 5th and Charnelton and 5th and Pearl are within walking distance. Street parking around downtown is free after 6pm. The LTD downtown bus station is three blocks away, and taxis and rideshares pick up and drop off at the 6th or 7th Avenue entrances.
The lobby opens one hour before a performance and each hall opens 30 minutes before. The box office is open Tuesday to Friday from noon to 5pm and Saturday from noon to 3pm, with online sales at any time. Complimentary coat check is available before every performance.
Accessibility
Every performance in the Soreng Theater and the Silva Hall offers accessible seating with adjacent or nearby companion seats, and complimentary wheelchairs can be used before the show, at intermission and afterwards. Accessible parking spots in the Hult garage sit next to the elevator on a first-come basis, and the third level of the garage has a sky bridge straight into the building with no stairs.
All levels of the building can be reached by elevator apart from the balcony of the Soreng Theater. Accessible restrooms are on the Lower, Lobby and Concourse levels, and service animals are welcome on a leash or in a harness.
Assistive Listening Devices are lent free from the Coat Room in exchange for an ID card. ASL interpretation can be arranged with at least 30 days' notice, and the Serenity Room and sensory bags with noise cancelling headphones, fidget tools and verbal cue cards are there for anyone who needs them.

Food, water and what you can bring
Outside food and drink are not allowed inside the theater. The Hult Center Café sells both in the lobby and on the concourse level.
Bags and purses should fit on your lap or under your seat, roughly 12 by 12 by 4 inches, and all guest entrances have magnetometer screening. Weapons of any kind including pocketknives larger than a keychain knife, drugs and paraphernalia, and cameras with long or detachable lenses are not permitted. Vaporizers and e-cigarettes can stay in a bag or pocket, but anyone using one in the hall or restrooms is removed from the venue.
Sound and sensory
The Silva Concert Hall is built along the lines of a 19th century opera house with a basket-weave ceiling, and the Soreng Theater is an open-concept space with an asymmetrical design. Assistive Listening Devices for amplified and clarified sound are available from the Coat Room.
If you need a break from the crowd, the Serenity Room is a private, relaxing space, and sensory bags with noise cancelling headphones, fidget tools and verbal cue cards are available. Masks are still welcome.

A little history
The Hult Center was built and paid for by the citizens of Eugene and opened in 1982. It is operated by the City of Eugene's Cultural Services Division, hosts more than 700 events and performances a year, and is home to four resident companies: Eugene Symphony, Eugene Ballet, Eugene Concert Choir and Ballet Fantastique.
Oregon Bach Festival grew out of Helmuth Rilling's 1970 workshops at the University of Oregon and was first housed at Beall Concert Hall; when the Hult Center opened in 1982 the festival was able to expand and attract renowned performers. The festival uses the Silva Concert Hall, the Soreng Theater for crossover events and family programming, and The Studio below the lobby for receptions, lectures and panels. The 2026 festival ran from June 27 to July 12, with tickets sold through the Hult Center Ticket Office.
