Food, water and what you can bring
A clear bag policy is in effect at the Nevada State Fairgrounds and Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center. Bags must be clear and no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or be a clutch, purse or wallet smaller than 8 x 11 inches, which does not need to be clear. Diaper bags and medical bags are allowed but are searched.
All bags, jackets and blankets are searched at the security checkpoints at all entrance gates. Larger non-clear bags are allowed in the parking areas, but guests with a bag that does not meet the policy are asked to return it to their vehicle before entering.

Reno Rodeo
A little history
Reno Rodeo is the premier event on the site, billed as the fourth largest rodeo in North America and run as a ten-day event.
The Reno Rodeo association has a phased plan called Legacy Reimagined. Its first phase replaces grandstands #3, #4 and #5 with restroom, concession and storage facilities below, with more seating.
