The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center opened in November 1995 in a historic building the City of Simi Valley bought in 1991 for $820,000. It is owned and operated by the City of Simi Valley and hosts more than 350 events a year, including musicals, concerts, craft fairs and arts exhibits.
The Hispanic Heritage Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration of Latino and Indigenous cultures, with more than 50 Latino artisans and community organizations filling the Cultural Arts Center grounds, and live music and dance performances on an outdoor stage throughout the day.
