Dale Watson is an American country singer, guitarist, and songwriter based in Austin, Texas, and born in Birmingham, Alabama. Known for a traditional honky-tonk style he calls 'Ameripolitan,' he has recorded prolifically since the early 1990s. He was inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
