Danzig is an American heavy metal band formed in 1987 in Lodi, New Jersey by vocalist Glenn Danzig, who had previously fronted the Misfits and Samhain. The band is known for its dark, blues-influenced metal and reached its commercial peak with the 1992 album "Danzig III: How the Gods Kill."
